Introduction

This section of the Callington Community College contains information for students taking external examinations at the College...

The Joint Council for Qualifications (JCQ) issues a Notice to Candidates taking exams with AQA, City & Guilds, CCEA, Edexcel, OCR and WJEC.

ome of the rules are simple common sense, for example:

  • being on time for exams
  • not talking to other candidates
  • not cheating in any way

Make sure you know exactly what you may or may not take with you into the exam room.

Other information in the notice is less obvious.

For example, did you know:

  • if you arrive more than one hour after the published starting time for the examination, you may not be allowed to take it
  • you must write in black ink, using colours only for diagrams, charts, maps etc
  • you must not leave the examination room until the invigilator tells you to

The full Notice To Candidates is available on the College VLE (Fronter), and can also be downloaded here...  Read it carefully so that you are aware of the rules, and you can go into your examinations confident that you know how to behave.

The rest is up to you...

For Callington Year 11 students during study leave this year, there are some final revision opportunities in some subjects.  Students have taken a letter and booking form home.  The letter and booking form are available for students and parents on the College VLE.

For parents and members of the public, past examination results can be found here...
