Callington Community College was re-awarded the International School Award in 2007 in recognition of its work in embedding the international dimension and global perspectives into the curriculum. Students and staff also have an increasing variety of opportunities to experience different cultures around the world. Our students have the opportunity to work on projects with students from across the globe. Curriculum areas also aim to incorporate the international cultural awareness into their work. Staff and students are increasingly able to work with others from different cultures, both from within the UK and beyond.
In 2007/08, we developed new links with partner schools in Spain and China. These are in addition to longer, more established links with schools in France and Germany. Various departments in the college work with a wide variety of schools in many countries around the world eg India, USA, Kenya, Italy and also with other schools in the UK.
