GCSE Results 2008

Students at Callington Community College have produced excellent results again this year. 

In Year 11:

• 62% of students achieved 5 A* - C
• 69% of all grades were A* - C
• 17% of all grades were A* or A
• 45% of students achieved 5 A* - C including English and Maths
• 100% of grades were A* - G (the national percentage was 98)

In addition, for the first time all Year 10 students completed half their GCSEs this year and already 66% of them have grade A* - C in Maths.  An outstanding 48% already have 5 GCSEs at grade A* - C.  Such excellent performance is very promising for these students who will complete their GCSEs next year.

Students at the college achieved the results expected of them will all subjects performing well.
