The Young Americans Performing Arts Tour

An opportunity for Callington students to learn from and perform with Performing Arts students from America

The Young Americans tour consists of 44 Performing Arts Students from America sharing their talent, passion and love of music, dance and performance in a 3 day residency in Callington.  Students who work with them will have the opportunity to develop their own skills and share in a huge final performance alongside the American students. It really is an opportunity not to be missed.

About the Young Americans

The organisation has been running for many years in America and has more recently branched out to Europe where they bring their enthusiasm for music and performance to groups of young people. Each of the American students is a highly accomplished and experienced performer who is prepared to share their skills with others. The quality of performance they get out of the young people they work with is outstanding. Take a look at The Young Americans' own website...

Who can take Part?

The 3 day workshop and performance is open to young people from the age of 9 to 18. Groups will be guided to performance  sometimes in mixed age groups and sometimes according to age or experience. There will be a place for everyone regardless of previous experience.

Spectacular Performance

On the evening of February 27th our students will perform for friends, family and the public with the Young Americans, demonstrating their new found skills and confidence.
