International Baccalaureate Trip to the Gambia

Callington IB students have been offered a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to go to Africa in March 2010.

This is a joint venture with Plymouth College. Five of our IB students will be joining this trip.  They will be teaching in two African village schools as part of their CAS work and in the evenings around a campfire they will be working on their Theory of Knowledge studies.

Students will be fundraising hard to raise the money for this trip and there will be lots of events coming up in the near future.   When they return they are hoping to share a lot of what they have learned with the school through assemblies and in Citizenship lessons.
